The Ghana Greentech Academy is a technical vocational school in Mim, located in the province of Ahafo about 450km northwest of Accra. The region is poor and the level of education in general is very low. The school offers young women and men technical vocational training since 2016. We developed the brand and the visual identity. The logo is a fusion of a heart and a leaf. The veins can also be understood as roots that sprout – a symbolic representation of the beginning of their technical training. The heart stands for the people in general. People who donate money to finance the training. People who pass on their passion and knowledge. And people who accept this knowledge and turn it into a profession. The colors reflect the school building and its surroundings.
